Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using One Guest Guide ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

One Guest Guide is a web-based platform that enables vacation rental and short-term accommodation hosts to create digital guest guides. The Service includes a guide builder, public guest view, and an AI-powered concierge feature.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:

• Free: 1 property, up to 5 sections per guide, no AI concierge, One Guest Guide watermark on the guest view.
• Monthly: $9 AUD per property per month. Unlimited sections, AI concierge, no watermark.
• Yearly: $6.30 AUD per property per month, billed annually at $75.60 per property. 30% discount on the monthly rate.

Subscription fees are charged via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

5. Free Tier Limitations

Free accounts are limited to one property with a maximum of five sections. The AI concierge feature is not available on the free tier. A "Powered by One Guest Guide" watermark is displayed on guest-facing views.

6. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. Additional properties beyond the free limit will be locked but not deleted — you can reactivate them by resubscribing.

7. Intellectual Property

The One Guest Guide name, logo, design, and software are the intellectual property of Hummingweb. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including property descriptions, section text, and uploaded information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe any third-party rights.

9. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT-4o mini) to generate guide content and power the AI concierge. AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before publishing it to guests.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any actions taken by guests based on the information in your guide.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Guest Guide and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
